About your role:

Within the propulsion department, you will play a major role in the development of Pangea Aerospace’s in-space propulsion systems, responsible for the design of thrusters and propellant feed systems. This includes:

  • Support the development of in-space propulsion systems using storable green propellants
  • Design of mono- and bipropellant thrusters for in-space use
  • Design of spacecraft propellant feed systems and components
  • Analysis of propulsion system and subcomponents (performance, heat transfer, stresses, etc.)


What you need to be successful:

  • 3 – 5 years working experience on spacecraft propulsion systems
  • Deep understanding of the working principles of monopropellant and bipropellant thrusters
  • Experience with spacecraft propellant feed system architectures and COTS components
  • Experience in mathematical modeling (MATLAB, Python, Excel, etc.)
  • Experience with CAD-Tools, preferably using Siemens NX
  • Accountability and product ownership
  • Fluency in the English language
  • Understanding of the catalytic decomposition process of H2O2
  • Knowledge of pressure vessel design for microgravity
  • Experience in design for additive manufacturing
  • Experience with modeling of propulsion systems in EcosimPro
  • Experience in systems engineering
  • Experience in managing projects with budget and timeline
  • Experience in supply chain management
