We are looking for a Junior Financial Controller in Toulouse:

About your job:

The finance team is growing as the company keeps signing new contracts and receiving grants and financing. Within our team, you will be working hand-by-hand with our CFO, our Financial analyst and our Accounting & Treasury Analyst on a wide range of topics, the main ones being described below.

Financial Reporting and Analysis 

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports 
• Consolidate data from project management and accounting systems to generate financial reports 
• Support the development of dashboards and KPIs for financial control of the operations of the company 

Budgeting and Forecasting 

• Participate in annual budgeting and periodic re-forecasting activities 
• Integrate project monitoring to monitor budget at company level 
• Assist in developing tools for scenario analysis and financial modelling 

Project controlling 

• Work hand to hand with project management to define applicable costs and financial performance of each project 
• Support in tracking expenses related to grants and institutional contracts 
• Analyse cost structure to identify areas of optimization 

Internal Control and Expenses Compliance 

• Help ensuring compliance between accounting and grant reporting 
• Support to audit preparation and documentation for project related themes 

Process Improvement 

• Help the finance and project management team to ensure alignment in the data collection methods 
• Support the implementation of new financial tools for data management and reporting 
• Assist in automating manual processes 

What you need to be successful:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 
• 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, controlling, ideally in a project-based company. 
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools. 
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. 
• Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting software is a plus. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. 
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. 
• English professional is a must. French and/or Spanish a plus
