We are looking for a Procurement analyst / specialist in Barcelona:


About your job:

The candidate will bridge the demands of materials and components from the engineering department, with the requirements from the quality department, with Project management according to timings and budgets and working within the finance department to ensure that the contractual terms match all needs.

This is a challenging position that has a transversal visibility on all company operations and engineering.


Procurement

  • Conduct research to source the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality
  • Market research on key products/materials/commodities needed by the company
  • Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers
  • Ensure all procurement processes are followed and accurately recorded
  • Ensure the security and sustainability of sources of essential products and services
  • Data analysis on spending and saving


RFQ/RFP/ Contract activities

  • Run tenders, evaluate bids and make recommendations, based on commercial and technical factors
  • Negotiate and agree contracts, monitoring the quality of service provided
  • Work closely with the company legal & finance department to make sure contracts and terms are favorable
  • Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries



What you need to be successful:

  • Engineering degree, or any other technical related profile
  • Master’s in business (international, finance, marketing) a plus.
  • 1-3 years of work experience for the analyst position / 3+ years of work experience for the specialist position in relation with the job description
  • English professional is a must. French and/or Spanish a plus
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
