We are looking for a Structural Analysis Engineer in Toulouse:


About your job:

As Structural Analysis Engineer, your main responsibilities will be to:

  1. Perform linear and non-linear static FE analyses on various structures  
  2. Conduct complex structural dynamic analysis for launch vehicles and propulsion systems 
  3. Conduct coupled load analysis (CLA) 
  4. Meet requirements set by ECSS and other relevant standards  
  5. Work together with design engineers to implement recommended changes into their designs  
  6. Work together with test engineers to obtain loads or validate FEA  
  7. Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders 


What you need to be successful:

  1. Msc in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar engineering field 
  2. 2+ years of experience with carrying out FE analyses.
  3. Deep knowledge of structural mechanics 
  4. Experience with thermo-mechanical analyses and understanding the behaviour of metals at high and low temperatures 
  5. Experience with ANSYS, Abaqus or other advanced commercial FEA software 
  6. Fluent English. French is a plus.


Other useful skills:

  1. CAD experience, preferably using Siemens NX 
  2. Programming skills, e.g. Python or MATLAB 
  3. Experience with high-cycle fatigue analysis 
  4. Experience with bolted flange analysis 
  5. Experience in dynamic analysis of rotary machines
