We are looking for a Structural Analysis Engineer in Toulouse:
About your job:
As Structural Analysis Engineer, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Perform linear and non-linear static FE analyses on various structures
- Conduct complex structural dynamic analysis for launch vehicles and propulsion systems
- Conduct coupled load analysis (CLA)
- Meet requirements set by ECSS and other relevant standards
- Work together with design engineers to implement recommended changes into their designs
- Work together with test engineers to obtain loads or validate FEA
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders
What you need to be successful:
- Msc in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar engineering field
- 2+ years of experience with carrying out FE analyses.
- Deep knowledge of structural mechanics
- Experience with thermo-mechanical analyses and understanding the behaviour of metals at high and low temperatures
- Experience with ANSYS, Abaqus or other advanced commercial FEA software
- Fluent English. French is a plus.
Other useful skills:
- CAD experience, preferably using Siemens NX
- Programming skills, e.g. Python or MATLAB
- Experience with high-cycle fatigue analysis
- Experience with bolted flange analysis
- Experience in dynamic analysis of rotary machines
